Parenting is something I love to talk about.
I am Janis B. Meredith, wife to a strong, faithful man, mother of 3 awesome young adults, daughter of amazing parents, sister to 5 older siblings, and writer.
I was brought up in a family that honored and served God. My parents created an eternal legacy of faith: all six kids serve God with their lives, all 17 grandchildren are following Christ and raising 22 great-grandchildren to follow Jesus.
My dad’s favorite verse, “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth” (3 John 4) has become a beacon for our family, as we strive to pass that joy on to the next generations, especially now that both my parents are gone.
But in order to see our kids walk in truth, we must lead the way.
Parenting the Truth is not a destination; it’s a journey of learning to live out God’s Instructions in a very practical way so that our kids will catch it and want to live their lives according to God’s Truth.
If you want to see your kids walking in Truth, then I invite you to join me as we seek To Walk the Talk in front our kids.
